Overview

This page explains how you can request deletion of your personal data collected by Signal-Lab through our platform and third-party platform connections (Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube).

This page satisfies the data deletion requirements of Meta's Platform Terms, TikTok's Developer Terms, and applicable data protection regulations.

What Data Signal Lab Holds About You

Signal-Lab may hold the following data associated with your account:
‣ Your email address and license credentials (used for account access and support)
‣ Content and performance data retrieved from your connected social media platforms (Facebook Pages, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
‣ Your platform connection tokens (OAuth access tokens used to retrieve data on your behalf)

Upon purchase, Signal-Lab grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the platform under the following conditions:
Scope of use: A single purchase covers one (1) brand or business — meaning one dashboard environment. Additional brands require separate licenses.
Restrictions: You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, reproduce, or commercially exploit Signal-Lab or any part of it without prior written consent.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you apply the platform's outputs. Signal-Lab provides analytical direction — final decisions and their outcomes rest with you.

How to Request Data Deletion

Email Request (All Users)
Send an email to support@signal-lab.io with the subject line:

Data Deletion Request — Signal-Lab
Include in your message:
‣ The email address associated with your Signal Lab account
‣ Which data you want deleted: full account deletion, or specific platform data only (e.g., "delete my TikTok data only")
‣ Any additional details to help us locate your records

What happens next:
1. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
2. We will verify your identity to confirm account ownership
3. Your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 calendar days, unless retention is required by applicable law (e.g., transaction records)

How to Revoke Platform Access (Without Deleting Your Account)

If you want to disconnect a specific platform from Signal-Lab without a full data deletion, you can revoke access directly from each platform's settings:

Facebook / Instagram / Threads (Meta)
1. Go to your Facebook account → Settings & Privacy → Setting
2. Select Apps and Websites
3. Find Signal-Lab in the list and click Remove

TikTok
1. Open TikTok → Profile → ☰ Menu → Settings and Privacy
2. Go to Security → Manage App Permissions
3. Find Signal-Lab and tap Revoke Access

Google / YouTube
1. Go to your Google Account → Security
2. Under "Third-party apps with account access," select Manage third-party access
3. Find Signal-Lab and click Remove Access

Revoking platform access stops future data syncing. To also delete data already stored in Signal-Lab, please follow Request Data Deletion guide above.

What Happens After Deletion

After your verified deletion request is processed:
‣ All personal data connected to your Signal-Lab account will be permanently removed from our active systems and databases
‣ Platform connection tokens will be revoked and deleted
‣ Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you is not subject to deletion
‣ Transaction records may be retained for the minimum period required by applicable financial and tax regulations

Meta Compliance Statement

This Data Deletion Instruction page fulfills Meta's requirement under the Meta Platform Terms for apps that access user data through the Facebook Login or Meta APIs. Signal Lab does not store Facebook user data beyond what is necessary to operate the platform, and all such data is deleted upon a verified user request.
